Patterns World Inc. is a third-generation Los Angeles apparel development atelier with 36+ years of experience transforming complex concepts into production-ready garments. We develop first patterns through production patterns, fit and sew samples, grade sizes, create markers, provide cutting services, and prepare technically demanding womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, gowns, custom pieces, and sewn-product prototypes for production.

Our History

Patterns World Inc. has been specializing in pattern making and sewing sample services in the garment district of Los Angeles for over 30 years. Started over decades ago, Patterns World Inc. is a 3rd generation family owned business. Originally started by Iskuhi, who taught seamstresses the art of dress making, the skill was passed down to her daughter Zara, a master pattern maker who worked with the industry elite. Today, the company is ran by Kristine, the grand daughter and daughter of the original founders.

We specialize in full package apparel development services. Our company’s emphasis is on product development for the contemporary market in Men’s, Women’s, and Children’s apparel. We cater to “up and coming” designers and larger apparel companies who seek quality construction. We offer 1st thru production pattern making, sample sewing, and small production of 50 units and plus. Grading, marking, and cutting services are also available.
